Kill Team
In the application, Kill Team is an edition of its own. You first choose a team and then put its operatives together yourself: unlike a Combat Patrol, a Kill Team list is built, not fixed.
What is different
- One catalogue is one team. Instead of a faction, you choose the kill team when you create the list.
- No points. The list has no points limit; what fits into the team is up to the catalogue.
- No detachment, no Warlord. Kill Team has neither, and the validation does not ask for them.
- No game mode to choose. The team is built in its own force.
- Editable. Unlike a fixed list, a Kill Team list can be changed at any time.
- A limit of its own. The free version counts kill teams on their own, apart from your other lists.
Choosing a kill team
- Choose the edition Kill Team at the top of the army lists.
- Choose New list at the bottom. The layer Choose kill team opens.
- Search for the team in the field Search kill teams or scroll the list; it is alphabetical.
- Click the team. On the right of each row stands how many roles it knows and, where the catalogue says so, how many operatives it comprises.
- Choose Create list. The application creates the list and opens it.
- The search field filters the teams as you type.
- The teams with the number of their roles and, where known, their operatives.
- “Create list” creates the list for the marked team.
Putting the operatives together
After it is created, the list is empty. You add the operatives from the catalogue like units and set their wargear in the unit detail, see Add and configure units.
Whatever the catalogue requires or limits for the team is reported by the list check.
