Getting started

A tour of the interface

The main view shows your lists, the catalogue and the open list side by side. Whatever you start there opens as a layer above it.

The areas

The main view on Windows: the army lists on the left, the Necrons catalogue in the middle, on the right the open list “The Wakened Dynasty” with its points; at the top the switch between army lists and showcase, and the “Options” button.
  1. Army lists: the lists of the chosen edition. At the top you pick the edition, at the bottom you create one with “New list” or import a file.
  2. Catalogue: what the open list's faction offers, grouped by category, with a search and each unit's price.
  3. Open list: the points, the list's actions, the validation and the units, sorted by category.
  4. Here you switch between the army lists and your showcase.
  5. “Options” opens language, appearance, data sources and more.

You can drag the borders between the areas with the mouse; the application remembers the widths. At the very bottom a status line reports what happened last.

On wide windows

When the window is wide enough, one more area joins on the right. It shows an overview of the open list, or the datasheet of the unit you mark in the list.

The main view on a wide window: beside army lists, catalogue and open list, one more area on the right shows the overview of the list.
  1. Army lists
  2. Catalogue
  3. Open list
  4. Overview of the list, or the datasheet of the marked unit

Layers

A new list, configuring a unit, the datasheets or the options open as a layer above the main view. The main view stays behind it, dimmed, until you close the layer — with the cross at the top right, the back arrow or the Escape key. A layer can open another one; the topmost is always the one that closes.

The options as a layer above the dimmed main view: the sections on the left, their content on the right, the cross to close it at the top right.
  1. The sections of the options.
  2. The content of the chosen section.
  3. The cross closes the layer.

On phone and tablet

How many areas stand side by side follows the width. On Windows the army lists, the catalogue and the open list always stand side by side; on wide windows the overview joins them.
